Is it permissible for a religious young man who owes debts to others to take out a usurious loan, knowing that he finds no way except to rely on Allah and the bank?

Dealing with usury is among the major sins, and its perpetrator is at war with Allah. Allah has warned those who deal with it of war from Him and His Messenger. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, cursed the one who consumes usury, the one who feeds it, its scribe, and its two witnesses. It is not permissible to deal with usury except in cases of extreme necessity that permit prohibitions, such as eating carrion. A Muslim must fear Allah and seek lawful sustenance. Allah promises those who fear Him a way out and provision from sources they do not anticipate. One must be cautious of falling into the trap of certain phrases, such as saying, "I have no way but to rely on Allah and the bank," for reliance and dependence are solely on Allah.
