Does the Book given to the righteous in their right hand and to the extravagant in their left hand contain all of a person's deeds, their good and bad, their small and large? And are sins erased from this Book after repentance and seeking forgiveness? And can anyone examine another's Book? And do memories of sins remain in Paradise, or are they forgotten? And is this Book the only link to our memories of this worldly life?

On the Day of Resurrection, the record of a servant's deeds will include all their actions, minor and major. If one repented of a sin, they will see both their sin and their repentance. The servant will be given their record on the Day of Resurrection to read, and it will encompass all deeds. As for one person seeing another's record, the situation on the Day of Resurrection will be too immense for anyone to be preoccupied with others, as each individual will have enough to worry about themselves. It is clear from the hadiths that loved ones will not remember each other at the scale, nor when the records are distributed, nor when a neck emerges from the Fire. Allah mentions that whoever is given their record in their right hand will rejoice and proclaim: "Here, read my record!" And whoever is given their record in their left hand will call for destruction and enter a blazing fire. The people of Paradise will recall the sins they committed in this world without that diminishing their delight; rather, it will be an acknowledgment of Allah's favor upon them. In contrast, the people of Hell will increase in sorrow and grief by this remembrance.
