What should one do who has uttered a word that will cast him into the fire of Hell for seventy autumns, or who fears that he will say it in the future?

The tongue is one of the most dangerous limbs and the most difficult to control. It can bring a person close to Paradise, then a single word can distance them from it. A Muslim must restrain their tongue from everything that contains no good, repent to Allah for what has emanated from it, and seek forgiveness from those they have backbitten or insulted, so that their repentance may be accepted.
