What is the ruling on saying "Religion is difficult" or "It is not easy"?

The religion of Allah is ease, not hardship. Allah has removed burden from this nation, so they are not tasked with what they cannot bear, as Allah Almighty says: (Allah intends ease for you, and He does not intend hardship for you) and (He has not placed upon you in religion any difficulty). Everything legislated by Allah is within the bounds of one's capacity. Therefore, the statement "religion is hardship" or "it is not easy" is false and contradicts the religious texts. It stems from ignorance or a misunderstanding of some rulings. Some may perceive difficulty in acts of worship due to a lack of zeal, whereas the believer whose heart Allah has opened to Islam finds acts of obedience easy and beloved to him.
