Does the statement of Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him): "We were given rain by the the An-Naw' of Al-Fath (a specific star)" contradict the Hadith of Zayd ibn Khalid Al-Juhani (may Allah be pleased with him)?

There is no contradiction between the Hadith and the statement of Abu Hurayrah, because Abu Hurayrah meant what Allah opens of His mercy, and this is in agreement with the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "We have been given rain by the grace of Allah and His mercy." Abu Hurayrah used to say, when people were given rain: "We have been given rain by the star of Al-Fath (the opening)," then he would recite the verse: {Whatever Allah grants to people of mercy, none can withhold it} [Fatir: 2], in opposition to the statement of the atheists, "We have been given rain by such and such a star," clarifying that the rain is from Allah's opening and His mercy, and not from the star.
