Is a descendant of Utbah ibn Abi Lahab considered to be among the Ahl al-Bayt, and what is our duty towards him?

Ahl al-Bayt includes all those to whom charity (sadaqah) is forbidden, including Utbah ibn Abi Lahab and his Muslim descendants, who are Banu Hashim in general. The Shafi'is also include Banu al-Muttalib. Utbah and his brother Mu'attab embraced Islam on the day of Al-Faj and witnessed Hunayn and Al-Ta'if, and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, prayed for them both. Whoever’s lineage to Ahl al-Bayt is established among Muslims, then they have the right to respect, love, appreciation, and loyalty.
