Is it permissible to enter a casino or a disco?

The believer shrinks from passing through or entering these casinos and places of corruption due to their包含 of evils such as mixing of genders, dancing, music, consumption of alcohol, and gambling. Even if their only offense were observing them without condemnation, that would be sufficient to forbid being present there. Furthermore, one who is present there is not safe from falling into prohibitions, because sins begin with a glance, then thoughts of the heart, then yearning, then intention, and then committing the act. Therefore, one must abandon frequenting such places and replace them with what is better. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The most beloved places to Allah are the mosques, and the most hated places to Allah are the markets." One should accompany the righteous, attend gatherings of knowledge, recite the Quran, and maintain prayers, for this is the path of the successful. Allah Almighty says: "Close friends, that Day, will be enemies to each other, except for the righteous."
