What is the benefit of the two Friday sermons? And what is their required content? Thank you.

The benefit and purpose of the Friday sermon is to exhort and remind people, as mentioned by Ibn Qudamah and Al-Nawawi. People need to be reminded of Allah's right and His worship, so they do not forget their primary mission. As for its content, it is an admonition. The Prophet, may Allah's prayers and peace be upon him, used to focus in his sermons on praising Allah, teaching the rules of Islam, mentioning Paradise and Hell, the Day of Resurrection, enjoining the fear of Allah, and clarifying the sources of His pleasure and wrath.
