Is it permissible to supplicate, asking for the beauty of Yusuf, the wisdom of Sulaiman, the patience of Ayyub, and the characteristics of the Messenger Muhammad (peace be upon him)?

Praying with "the wisdom of Solomon, the patience of Job, and the beauty of Joseph," even if it is within Allah's قدر (divine decree), is considered an تجاوز (excess) in supplication, because it is usually asking for the impossible. For the Prophets, Allah特 خصّهم (specifically distinguished them) with perfection in these attributes. Therefore, one must avoid this type of supplication and adhere to the narrated دعاء (supplications).
