Are the actions mentioned in the question—laughing when Quranic verses are recited, imagining the attributes of Allah, saying "Ya Hawl" (an expression of dismay) when angry, and attributing the name "Al-Jawad" (The Generous) to Allah out of ignorance—considered disbelief that expels one from the fold of Islam? And is repentance alone sufficient without performing ghusl for one who has disbelieved? And is one act of repentance sufficient for repenting from all sins? And will a person be held accountable for thinking about how Allah descends to the lowest heaven?

Laughter does not take one out of the fold of Islam, unless it is intended as mockery of the Quran. Arrogance (kibr) is blameworthy in creation; it is the rejection of truth and contempt for people. However, it is a perfection in relation to Allah the Almighty. Allah the Almighty's active attributes, such as Al-Istiwa' (ascending) and An-Nuzul (descending), are affirmed as they have been revealed, without distortion, resemblance, or determining their modality, for their modality is unknown. It is not permissible to ponder over the essence of Allah, but rather over His creation and His signs. When experiencing whisperings of doubt concerning Allah, one must seek refuge (with Allah) and say: "I believe in Allah." The whisperings of the self that do not transform into action or speech are forgiven, and a general repentance for sins is sufficient. Al-Jawad is one of Allah's Beautiful Names, and it is not permissible to name Allah with names not mentioned in the sacred texts.
