Is cauterization with fire permissible on a patient's head or some part of their body?

It is permissible to cauterize a sick person with fire for treatment if there is a need, and it is hoped that Allah will benefit them through it. This is based on what has been reported from Jabir and Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with them, regarding the Prophet's actions and his informing that it is one of the causes of healing. His prohibition of cauterization is interpreted as applying to situations where there is no need for it, or that treatment with it is disfavored due to the pain it causes. This should be carried out by an expert.
