ما هو حكم العلاج بالكي (بالنار)؟

Some scholars disliked it due to the severe pain, while others said it should not be abandoned entirely except when necessary. The hadiths regarding cauterization indicate its permissibility, and that disliking it does not mean it is forbidden. The praise for those who abstain from it indicates that abstaining is preferable and better. The prohibition against it is by way of choice and dislike, or for types that are not needed.
