What are the conditions and duties of Tawaf?

The conditions for circumambulation (Tawaf) are: Islam, sanity, intention, covering of the 'awrah (private parts), ritual purity from minor and major impurities, purity of garment and body from ritual impurity (according to the majority of scholars), completing seven full circuits, keeping the Kaaba to one's left, circumambulating the entire Kaaba (outside the Hijr), walking if able, performing the circuits consecutively, performing the circumambulation inside the Sacred Mosque, and starting from the Black Stone.

As for the obligations of Tawaf, some scholars are of the opinion that performing two Rak'ahs of prayer after it is obligatory, but the correct view is that it is a recommended Sunnah.
