Whoever mixes a righteous deed with an evil one will have their good deeds and bad deeds weighed on the Day of Judgment. If their good deeds outweigh the bad, they will be saved; otherwise, they will deserve punishment according to their sins.

Maintaining prayer, remembrance (dhikr), and Qur'an recitation is a great good. Beware of Satan tempting you to abandon prayer, no matter how great your sins may be.

Remember that the inability to abandon sins is a deception from Satan, and that you are capable of abandoning them through sincere repentance and firm resolve.

Seek help from Allah, for whoever strives in His cause, He guides them to His paths, and whoever draws near to Him, Allah draws nearer to them even more.

Do not despair of repentance, no matter how often the sin is repeated. Remember death and the terrors that follow it, and bear in mind Allah's observation of you and His accountability of you.

Know that success and happiness in this world and the Hereafter are linked to obedience to Allah. Strive earnestly in supplication that Allah may guide you and save you from temptations.
