The answer

You must seek Allah’s help and supplicate for sincere repentance, guidance, and uprightness. Fulfill the conditions of repentance: abandoning sins, feeling remorse, resolving not to return to them, and restoring rights to their owners if they pertain to the rights of a human being. A believer, when they sin, remembers the greatness of Allah and repents. Allah the Almighty says: (And those who, when they commit an indecency or wrong themselves, remember Allah and ask forgiveness for their sins — and who can forgive sins except Allah? — and do not persistently adhere to what they have done while they know. Those — their recompense is forgiveness from their Lord and gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide eternally; and excellent is the reward of the [righteous] workers). Avoid the causes leading to disobedience, distance yourself from bad environments and evil companions, associate with the righteous, and attend gatherings of goodness.
