Is the husband sinful for criticizing the fatwa and the Sheikh, and for insisting on eating frozen poultry, and is the wife sinful for informing him of the fatwa?

Allah has permitted for Muslims the slaughtered animals of the People of the Book if they are slaughtered according to the Islamic method. However, if they are killed by stunning or strangulation, they are considered carrion and are not permissible. If you know the animals were slaughtered according to the Islamic method, you may eat from them. If you are unaware, you may still eat from them based on the principle of permissibility, as long as Islamic slaughter is the predominant method there. However, if you have doubts, or if killing rather than slaughtering is the predominant method, then it is not permissible for you to eat from them. Advising your husband is obligatory, with gentleness and by seeking evidence gracefully. If the meat is forbidden, it is not permissible to consume it except in cases of extreme necessity. Anyone who consumes it without necessity is sinful. The husband must refrain from disrespecting scholars.
