Is what was stated in consultation no. 262108 regarding dealing with drops of urine that exit after urinating, and sufficing with washing the private parts and sprinkling water on clothes, and not paying attention to the feeling of something exiting, whether urine or gas, correct, and what is its evidence from the Book and the Sunnah?

Whoever feels urine drops should not pay attention to this feeling if it is merely a whisper (waswasah), and they should sprinkle water on their trousers so that any wetness they find can be attributed to this sprinkling.

If the discharge of urine is confirmed, it falls into two cases: 1. If it stops for a sufficient period for purification and prayer: Then one must be careful and wait until it stops, then perform ablution and pray. 2. If it is continuous all the time and does not stop for a sufficient period: Then the person is considered to have incontinence (sals). They should perform ablution after the time for prayer begins and pray with that ablution as many obligatory and supererogatory prayers as they wish until that time expires. They should also take precautions by placing a cloth over the impure area, according to the majority of scholars.
