Is it permissible to interpret dreams? And how are they interpreted, taking into consideration that a person cannot see their future? And what is the case of someone whose dreams mostly come true after a while?

Interpretation of dreams is permissible. Yusuf (peace be upon him) interpreted dreams, as did our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). This practice continues among those knowledgeable in this matter. It is not permissible for just anyone to undertake dream interpretation; rather, only one who is knowledgeable and experienced in the analogies used in dreams should interpret them. There is no claim to knowledge of the unseen in this; because the interpreter does not definitively assert the occurrence of what he predicts, and he may err, and because Allah has made dreams a sign. And for one whose dreams prove true, that is as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) informed: "The dream of a believer is one of forty-six parts of prophethood."
