Are the circulated pieces of information about the devil of the evil eye, methods of its treatment, and its being a cause of physical and psychological pain correct and in accordance with Islamic law, especially with the引用 of prophetic hadiths and narrations from the Salaf?

"The hadith about the devil of the eye is weak. Satan is associated with the sorcerer and the envious person. Devils assist the envious person without being summoned, because he (the envious person) is similar to Iblis in his desire to corrupt people and remove blessings from them. Ruqyah is permissible if it is proven effective, contains no shirk (polytheism), and does not contradict Islamic creed."
