Does a divorce pronounced by a smoker in a fit of anger towards his wife during the daytime in Ramadan count—considering that they had not yet consummated the marriage, reconciled the following day, and are now married with a child?

Anger does not prevent the occurrence of divorce unless it incapacitates the person's awareness. If you utter the divorce while overpowered in your mind, then your divorce is not effective. However, if you were aware of what you were saying and had not yet consummated the marriage with your wife or had a valid private seclusion with her, then your wife has become irrevocably divorced from you with this single pronouncement. And if you took her back without a new contract, then the رجعة (revocation/reconciliation) is invalid, and you must separate from your wife until you contract a new marriage with her.
