Am I justified in refusing to let my husband go camping with our two daughters in a place where there are many naked disbelievers and water sports that are incompatible with my hijab, especially since he asks disbelieving neighbors about camping spots and refuses to take me with him?

Going to places where Allah Almighty is disobeyed for recreation and entertainment is forbidden by Islamic law, especially for women who are prohibited from mixing with men. Allah has described His believing servants as those who "do not bear false witness." The husband must refrain from going to such places because they corrupt the children and defile their pure nature, and he will be held accountable for his flock. The wife must strive to prevent her children from going with their father if he insists, while advising him in the best manner.
