Is it permissible for the Hajj al-Mutamatti' (pilgrim performing Hajj At-Tamattu') after exiting the state of Ihram following Umrah and before entering Ihram for Hajj, to joke with his wife and have sexual intercourse with her?

The Hajj al-Mutamatti' pilgrim, upon completing the ritual disengagement (tahallul) from his 'Umrah, is permitted everything that was previously forbidden to him due to the state of ihram. He may wear his regular clothes, use perfume, and engage in sexual intimacy with women, including cohabitation and anything less. Nothing is forbidden to him until he enters the state of ihram for Hajj. This is supported by Jabir's narration in his account of the Farewell Pilgrimage: "The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, commanded us to disengage, saying: 'Disengage and have intimacy with women.'"
