Are all of Gog and Magog disbelievers? And what is the authenticity of the answers mentioned by Ibn Hajar in Fath al-Bari to reconcile the hadith "The البعث (resurrection) will send 99 out of every 100 to the Fire" and the hadith "999 out of every 1000"? And are there other answers from other scholars?

The tribes of Gog and Magog are disbelievers and corruptors on Earth. Their extreme disbelief indicates that when they emerge at the end of time, they will seize water and shoot arrows into the sky. No one will be able to fight them due to their vast numbers. They will besiege the Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him) and the believers, whereupon Allah will destroy them all with a worm that gnaws at their necks.

As for reconciling the two hadiths regarding the proportion of the inhabitants of Hell, several answers have been provided:

1. Al-Kirmani: The concept of number is not to be taken literally; the intention is to emphasize the small number of believers and the large number of disbelievers. 2. Ibn Hajar: The first hadith (one out of every thousand) includes all of Adam's progeny, while the second (ten out of every thousand) excludes Gog and Magog. The first pertains to all creation, while the second specifically refers to this Ummah. The division occurs twice: once from previous nations (one out of a thousand), and once from this Ummah alone (ten out of a thousand). Those destined for Hell are disbelievers and disobedient ones: thus, 999 disbelievers out of every thousand, and 99 disobedient ones out of every hundred.
