What is the ruling on a woman working as a broadcaster on radio or television?

The Shari'ah protects society from the tribulations of moral decay, and the emergence of women, their mixing with men, and their adornment are among the greatest causes of tribulations. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "I have not left behind me any tribulation more harmful to men than women," and "So fear the world, and fear women, for the first tribulation of the Children of Israel was concerning women." Women have been commanded to preserve their chastity and have been forbidden from speaking loudly in front of non-mahram men except out of urgent necessity. Furthermore, a woman working as a television announcer involves Shari'ah violations: her mixing with non-mahram men, the necessity of uncovering her face and adorning herself in front of hundreds of thousands of men, and many of them softening their speech.
