Is it permissible to clean the inside of the Qur’an with water and a tissue, and is it obligatory to remove the light dust or small brown particles found in it, and is cleaning the outside (cover) of school books that contain the name of Allah or verses considered obligatory?

Maintaining the cleanliness of the Mus'haf, both internally and externally, is a religious requirement. It is not permissible to clean its interior with water, lest its pages be damaged. Dust can be removed by wiping it with a dry cloth. Papers containing revelations and Islamic sciences must be preserved and not treated disrespectfully.
