Will a person upon whom God has bestowed the grace of "Haqq al-Yaqin" (the Truth of Certainty) and the realization of material proofs of His existence be judged more severely than others if he disobeys, similar to the previous nations who witnessed God's signs yet disbelieved?

Material manifestations necessitate belief in, and increased belief in, their Creator. Therefore, Allah threatened the disciples with severe torment if they disbelieved after the Mâ'idah (Table Spread) was sent down. The occurrence of these matters is a blessing that calls for gratitude, and meeting it with disobedience exposes one to a severer torment. Whoever experiences these matters should recall the greatness of the blessing and meet it with gratitude, obedience, and uprightness, while being cautious not to mention them to people to avoid conceit. For extraordinary matters may elevate one's ranks, or expose one to torment, or be permissible. Belief in the unseen is a characteristic of the pious, and by it, the truthfulness of faith is distinguished from its falsehood. While people are equal in believing in tangible things, whoever believes in the unseen despite not seeing it, such as one who believed in the Prophet (peace be upon him) without seeing him, is rewarded. Belief in the unseen is an obligation, and whoever denies anything of it disbelieves, because it is a branch of faith in Allah and His Messenger.
