Is reading a Hizb after Maghrib prayer daily—except on Thursdays when Surat Al-Kahf is recited—in congregation considered a bid‘ah (innovation), for the purpose of solidifying the memorization of Surat Al-Baqarah and Surat Aal ‘Imran?

Gathering to recite the Quran, including Surat Al-Kahf, is a recommended act as it involves cooperation in righteousness and piety. This is based on the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "No people gather in one of the houses of Allah, reciting the Book of Allah and studying it among themselves, except that tranquility descends upon them, mercy envelops them, angels surround them, and Allah mentions them to those with Him." It is preferable that one of you recites while the others listen, to avoid the disagreement of those who dislike simultaneous recitation by everyone. Designating a specific time for gathering to study and recite is not a blameworthy innovation if it is not done with the belief in the inherent virtue of that specific time itself.
