This is permissible provided that it is not for lamentation, wailing, or magnifying the calamity, nor for pride or boasting. As for attaching a picture of the deceased with these papers, it is not advisable due to the scholars' differing opinions on the ruling concerning photographic images. Therefore, it is safer to avoid that.
