Is it permissible to perform ruqyah on a car when one senses it has been afflicted by the evil eye or when it breaks down in a way that is difficult to repair, and how is this ruqyah performed?

The evil eye affects wealth just as it affects people. It is legislated to fortify cars and wealth by asking Allah for well-being, by performing Ruqyah, and by saying: "Ma sha' Allah (what Allah wills)." The righteous predecessors used to say: "Ma sha' Allah, la quwwata illa billah (what Allah wills, there is no power except with Allah)" when they saw something from their wealth that pleased them. If the one who casts the evil eye fears the harm of his eye, he should repel its evil by saying: "Allahumma barik 'alayh (O Allah, bless it)." It is permissible to treat the evil eye that afflicts a car by having the one who cast the evil eye perform ablution or a full bath, and then pour the water from his ablution or bath onto the car.
