Is it permissible to use money obtained from usurious interest for purposes other than food and clothing, due to the unavailability of Halal money to purchase other things?

Usurious interests must be disposed of by spending them on public welfare and charitable causes. It is not permissible to benefit from them except in cases of dire necessity, where one is likely to perish, or endure unbearable hardship, or is unable to secure the minimum standard of living for the poor. In such cases, it is permissible to take from them only what is needed for basic necessities.
