It is advisable to be patient with one's wife and strive for her betterment, and to consider her good qualities. Allah Almighty said: "And live with them in kindness. For if you dislike them - perhaps you dislike a thing and Allah makes therein much good." And the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "No believing man should hate a believing woman. If he dislikes one of her characteristics, he will be pleased with another." If the man cannot be patient and needs to marry another, then let him marry. And if he cannot marry except after divorcing the first wife, there is no harm, while making divorce the last resort.
