Are the calamities and worries I am experiencing a punishment for sins and transgressions I committed two years ago and have repented from, or are they a test from my Lord?

If you repent of sins with sincere repentance, then you will not be held accountable for them, and one who repents of a sin is like one who has no sin. Repel the calamities that befall you with patience, seeking reward from Allah, frequent remembrance of Allah, seeking forgiveness, and self-accounting. To know whether what afflicts you is a test to raise your rank or a punishment for a sin you have not repented from, refer to Fatwa no. 167465.
