What is the status of a woman's right in Islam after her husband has beaten her, stolen her money, and abandoned their son?

Allah Almighty has enjoined upon spouses to live together in kindness. The wife has rights just as the husband does, and the husband must consider the nature of woman's creation. In the Prophetic Hadith: "Treat women kindly, for woman was created from a rib, and the most curved part of the rib is its uppermost part. If you try to straighten it, you will break it, and if you leave it, it will remain curved. So, treat women kindly." And: "No believing man should hate a believing woman; if he dislikes one characteristic in her, he will be pleased with another."

Your question, "Where is Islam? And where are the rights of women?" is astonishing. Your husband is an individual among Muslims who makes mistakes and acts correctly, and he is not infallible. Islam has guaranteed the rights of women most completely. The transgression of some of its adherents against the guidance of Islam has nothing to do with Islam.

We advise you to continue to reach an understanding with your husband, and then to seek a man whom he respects to arbitrate between you. If that does not work, refer your case to the Sharia court to prove the harm and secure your rights. And if you do not obtain your rights in this world, then know that the Day of Resurrection is the Day of Judgment and Retribution, "where every rightful person will be given their due."
