Is it obligatory to pray Dhuhr after Friday Prayer if there are multiple Friday Prayers in the same town, and do the madhhabs agree on this?
The obligation of Jumu'ah prayer has been established by the Qur'an, Sunnah, and scholarly consensus (Ijma'), as in the Almighty's saying: "O you who have believed, when [the adhan is] called for the prayer on the day of Jumu'ah, then proceed to the remembrance of Allah and leave trade." And the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Going to Jumu'ah is obligatory upon every adult." The Prophet (peace be upon him) warned those who abandon it, saying: "People should stop neglecting Jumu'ah prayers, or Allah will seal their hearts, and they will then be among the heedless."
Multiple Jumu'ah prayers are permissible according to the four schools of thought if there is a need for them. Consequently, the Dhuhr prayer in this case is not required. Some Hanafis and some Shafi'is have held the view that it is preferable to pray Dhuhr as a precaution, not as an obligation, citing the Hadith: "And whoever guards against doubtful matters, he has indeed guarded his religion and his honor."
