The answer

Ruqyah Shar'iyyah is beneficial in protecting against envy. However, regarding the recovery of a lost job or money through Ruqyah, there is no definitive proof. A Muslim should not attach their heart to a specific matter, but rather hope that Allah will fulfill their aspirations through any of the doors of sustenance He wills. As it is stated in the Hadith: "When one of you makes a wish, let him wish for much, for he is asking his Lord." Among what is mentioned regarding high ambition is what some of the Salaf said: "O servant, what you do not hope for in terms of righteousness is more likely to happen than what you do hope for. Indeed, Moses came to kindle a fire from a light he saw while the night was dark. Then he returned after Allah had spoken to him and conversed privately with him, and He is the best conversationalist."
