Is it permissible to shave the head of a three-month-old baby girl?

The Fatwa's Summary: It is permissible to shave a young girl's head according to some scholars, even if not out of necessity. Others are of the view that shaving a female's head is not prescribed at all, except on the seventh day of her birth, or for medical treatment, or to conceal oneself from a wicked person. If there is no need to shave her head, then it should be left.
