What is the ruling on disposing of a sum of money, exceeding the rightfully claimed amount, obtained by a court order after submitting inaccurate documents to the court to reclaim the rights of the questioner and his brother from a former employer?

The general principle is that presenting incorrect official documents is not permissible, because it falls under false testimony and false speech, which the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, warned against. An exception to this is when the objective is to obtain a legitimate right that could not be accessed except through this means, after all other avenues have been blocked. It is not permissible to exceed the extent of the right, as this contradicts justice. There is no objection to the brother taking his right from the money you obtained if he is safe from causing discord. And whoever is able to recover his right may do so. Attorney fees do not justify exceeding what is rightful. The litigant must bear the costs of whomever he appoints, unless there is obstinacy from the opponent, in which case the costs of the litigation are charged to him.
