What is the authenticity of what was mentioned in Al-Suyuti's Tafsir concerning the absence of any marfu' hadith prohibiting a man from approaching his wife from behind (anal intercourse), and that some mawquf hadiths narrated from the Companions are authentic, along with his authentication of Ibn 'Umar's hadith permitting it, which is mentioned in Sahih Al-Bukhari?

Intercourse with a woman in the anus is forbidden by the Qur'an and Sunnah, and this is the view of the majority of early and later scholars. It is considered a minor act of sodomy. Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar mentioned in Fath al-Bari that the collection of hadiths reported concerning its prohibition are valid for argumentation, even though some imams, such as Al-Bukhari and An-Nasa'i, believe that nothing مرفوع (directly attributed to the Prophet) has been definitively established regarding it. What supports the prohibition is that permissibility of such an act, after its original prohibition, is fundamentally non-existent. Among the authentic hadiths prohibiting it are those reported from Khuzaymah ibn Thabit, Abu Hurayrah, and Ibn Abbas.
