Is a wife sinful if she conceals from her husband the job title of her work, which she is doing to help him with living expenses, knowing that he would not approve of it even if there were no doubt (shubha) about it?

A married woman is not permitted to work unless her husband consents. If the work leads to indecency or private seclusion with male superiors, then it is absolutely impermissible.

Thus, if a woman works in a job that causes her to leave her home or neglect her husband's rights without his consent, or in a job that her husband disapproves of—even if it does not involve a Shariah violation—she is sinful.

Concealing the matter from the husband is not permissible, and she must leave the job if he is displeased with it.
