Should a young woman marry the man with whom she previously committed adultery, knowing that they have both repented, but he rarely prays, his money is mixed with unlawful earnings, and he has an interest-bearing loan? Or should she marry someone else and fear deceiving him? Or should she never marry at all?

You should thank Allah for the blessing of repentance, and know that the Sharia encourages choosing a spouse who is religious and of good character. If the young man abandons prayer and is lax about consuming forbidden things, he is not fit for marriage, and some scholars consider one who abandons prayer to be a disbeliever. Since he enjoys listening to religious lessons, he is open to advice, so some righteous people should advise him. If he repents and preserves his prayers, then accept him as a husband, for he may ward off from you the anxieties of marrying others. As for the loss of the hymen, it should not be a reason to reject a suitor, and forsaking marriage entirely is not part of Islam's guidance and may be obligatory in some cases.
