"Al-Fatil," "An-Naqir," and "Al-Qitmir" are parts of a date-stone mentioned in the Holy Qur'an. Al-Fatil is the thread-like fiber found in the groove of the date-stone. An-Naqir is the small pit or indentation on the date-stone. Al-Qitmir is the thin skin or membrane covering the date-stone.
