Is what is stated in the circulating message about the soul departing during sleep and prostrating before the Throne, and the authenticity of the narration attributed to Abdullah ibn Amr and the prophetic hadith about the virtue of purification before sleep, correct?

Transmitting Islamic information and prophetic traditions without verification is dangerous, especially if a hadith is attributed to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, or a ruling to the Sharia without confirming its authenticity. For "It is enough a lie for a person to narrate everything he hears." It is obligatory to verify information before spreading it, either by referring to the books of scholars or by asking specialists. The narration attributed to Ibn 'Umar, claiming that Al-Bukhari reported it, is incorrect, as Al-Bukhari reported it in "Al-Tarikh" and clarified that it is not authentic. As for the hadith "Whoever sleeps in a state of purity, an angel stays with him in his inner garment," it is weak. The virtue of performing wudu' before sleeping is sufficiently established by the hadith of Al-Bara' bin 'Azib, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "When you go to your bed, perform wudu' as you do for prayer, then lie down on your right side, then say: 'O Allah, I have surrendered my face to You...'" the hadith. This wudu' is recommended and has benefits, including sleeping in a state of complete purity, and that it makes dreams truer and keeps away the manipulation of Satan.
