We advise abandoning anger, practicing patience, and being content with a religious and well-mannered wife, regardless of her past, if she has repented. What you are experiencing is a psychological crisis, and inner whisperings do not affect the validity of the marriage; for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed, Allah has forgiven my Ummah for what they whisper to themselves, as long as they do not act upon it or speak of it." If someone swore not to marry a woman with a certain characteristic, then later saw her as better for him, it is preferable for him to marry her and expiate his oath.
