Is it permissible for a woman to ask her husband, who is married to another, to divide his salary equally between her, his children, and his (other) wife, knowing that the children's education is covered by the husband's workplace?

"The wife does not have the right to demand that her husband's salary be divided equally between her, his other wife, and his children. However, she does have the right to demand that he spend on her 'bi al-ma'ruf' (in a reasonable and customary manner). The obligatory maintenance ('nafaqah') for the wife is what suffices her 'bi al-ma'ruf,' according to the circumstances of both spouses. The husband is not obligated to equalize maintenance among his wives; rather, he may favor one over another in maintenance and clothing, as long as the other wife is sufficiently provided for."
