What should a newlywed woman do in Ramadan if her husband desires to have intercourse with her daily?
Both spouses must fear Allah and avoid anything that incites lust during the daytime in Ramadan. If the husband requests intercourse during the daytime in Ramadan, the wife must refuse, as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is no obedience to a creature in disobedience to Allah Almighty." If the spouses fear falling into sin by being together during the day, they should not meet until Ramadan ends. Allah has permitted them intercourse at night from Maghrib until just before Fajr, as He (the Most High) says: "Permitted for you, on the night of the fasts, is sexual intercourse with your wives. They are clothing for you and you are clothing for them. Allah knows that you used to deceive yourselves, so He accepted your repentance and forgave you. So now, have intercourse with them and seek what Allah has ordained for you."
