Is it permissible to place the Quran under a child's head?

The Holy Quran must be protected from being placed under a child's head or anything else, as this entails dishonor and degradation, and exposes it to tampering. Rather, it must be honored and safeguarded from everything that contradicts its dignity and loftiness. The Ummah has unanimously agreed on the obligation of glorifying, sanctifying, and preserving the Quran. The Quran must be respected wherever it is written, and it is forbidden by consensus to write it where it would be disgraced.
