What is the meaning of "negation of perfection" in the words of Ibn Kathir, and what is the most authoritative opinion regarding the Hadith of Abu Hurayrah which states, "If the call to prayer is made and one of you is in a state of ritual impurity (junub), then he should not fast on that day"?

Whoever awakens in a state of major ritual impurity (junub) while fasting, their fast is valid. Consensus has been established on this matter, based on the hadith of 'Aisha and Umm Salama, may Allah be pleased with them both: "We bear witness that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, would awaken in a state of major ritual impurity, not from a wet dream, then he would perform ghusl and fast." Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him, retracted his fatwa regarding the obligation to break the fast for one who awakens in a state of major ritual impurity, because he heard the hadith of 'Aisha and Umm Salama.
