Do the parents sin by not waking the questioner for prayer after she requested them to do so, or does the sin fall upon her for missing the prayer?

There is no sin upon a person who sleeps before the prayer time begins if they miss the prayer, based on the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) saying: “Indeed, there is no negligence in sleep,” and his saying: “The pen is lifted from three… from the sleeper until he awakens.” However, they must make up the prayer immediately upon waking.

As for someone who sleeps after the prayer time has begun, knowing or thinking that they will not wake up before its time expires, and does not take the necessary measures to wake up, then they are sinful and must repent.

Regarding the sin of the family for not waking her up, there is a difference of opinion: - Some hold that waking her is obligatory, so the family sins by not waking her. - Others have elaborated: If her sleeping is known to be a transgression (she slept during the time, knowing she would not wake up), then waking her is obligatory, and the family sins by not doing so. If her situation is unknown, or she slept before the time, then waking her is recommended, and the family does not sin by not doing so.
