Is it the right of the man to compel his fiancée to hold the wedding ceremony in an Islamic manner and to wear an Islamic dress, and what should he do if she insists on the contrary, and what is the ruling of Islamic law regarding the consummation of the marriage or its non-consummation according to the husband's wish?

A Muslim is obligated to ensure all their actions conform to the law of Allah the Almighty, and marriage is no exception. One must avoid forbidden matters within it, such as intermingling (free mixing of sexes), extravagance, and unlawful musical instruments. The husband is responsible for this and for his wife's adherence to the Islamic veil (hijab). The husband holds the first and final decision regarding marriage (nikah); he possesses the power to solemnize and dissolve the marriage contract, and he is responsible for the associated dowry, maintenance, and housing. He also has the right to divorce. It is commendable for him to consult with his family and wife on shared matters.
