Will a Muslim who intended to perform Hajj, but died before doing so, be granted the reward for Hajj?

The matter of intention is of great significance. If the intention is sound, a servant may attain through it what those who perform deeds cannot. If one genuinely intends an act of worship but is prevented from performing it, they receive the reward of those who obey. Allah the Almighty says: ﴿And whoever leaves his home as an emigrant to Allah and His Messenger and then death overtakes him—his reward has already become incumbent upon Allah.﴾ And whoever intends to perform Hajj but is prevented from it due to an excuse, such as incapacity or death before being able to do so, will be rewarded according to the sincerity of their intention.
